These Terms and Conditions apply to the AlcoList app (the ‘Application’) for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The Application is provided by the developer of AlcoList (the ‘Service Provider’) as a commercial service.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
The Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Application. You may not attempt to extract the source code, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the Application’s source code except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
AlcoList is a tracking tool for personal awareness. It helps you log drinks and view totals, trends, and breakdowns based on a guideline reference you choose.
The Application does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not a medical device. If you have questions about your health or alcohol use, consult a qualified professional. If this is an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Some features may require a subscription or in-app purchase. Prices, billing terms, and renewal details are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm payment.
If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
The Service Provider may modify the Application, introduce new features, or change pricing at any time. Any charges will be clearly communicated to you through the App Store.
Your drinking log data (entries, templates, settings, and reports) is stored on your device. The Application does not require an account.
The Application may also use limited analytics/diagnostics and subscription infrastructure to operate and improve the service. For details, please review the Privacy Policy.
The Application may use third-party services that have their own terms and policies. Below are links to services commonly used by the Application:
It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device, which may compromise security features and cause the Application to malfunction.
Some functions of the Application may require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of connectivity or if you have exhausted your data allowance.
If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider’s terms may apply, and you may incur charges (including roaming charges). You accept responsibility for any such charges.
The Application is provided on an ‘AS IS’ and ‘AS AVAILABLE’ basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider disclaims all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Application; (b) any conduct or content of any third party; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted under applicable law.
The Service Provider may update the Application from time to time. Operating system requirements may change, and you may need to install updates to continue using the Application.
The Service Provider may stop providing the Application at any time and may terminate your right to use it without prior notice. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end and you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.
If you request a refund through Apple, Apple may ask for information to evaluate your request. As part of the refund process, the Service Provider may share limited information with Apple related to your in-app purchase (for example, purchase identifiers and basic access status to purchased features), only to the extent necessary to help Apple make an informed decision and in accordance with Apple’s policies.
The Service Provider may update these Terms from time to time. You are advised to review this page regularly for changes. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2025-12-21.
If you have any questions or suggestions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact the Service Provider at contact@alcolist.online.
