Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the AlcoList app (the ‘Application’) for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The Application is provided by the developer of AlcoList (the ‘Service Provider’) and is intended for use ‘AS IS’.

AlcoList is an alcohol tracking tool for personal awareness. Your drinking log (entries, templates, settings, and reports) is stored on your device. The Application does not require an account.

The Application may collect the following types of information:

• User-entered data: drink name, volume, ABV, date/time, optional price, and any templates you create.
• App settings: guideline preset selection, units, currency, start-of-week, and appearance preferences.
• Diagnostics & usage analytics (if enabled in the app/build): basic app events and technical diagnostics used to improve stability and performance.

The Application does not require access to your photos, camera, microphone, or precise location to function.

The Service Provider may use third-party services to (a) understand how the Application is used and (b) provide subscriptions. These services may process limited data such as device identifiers, app version, diagnostics, and purchase-related information. The Service Provider does not receive your Apple ID credentials.

The Application may use the following third-party service providers. Their privacy policies explain how they handle data:

• PostHog (analytics)
• RevenueCat (subscriptions)

If additional third-party services are used in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.

The Service Provider may disclose information:

• as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process);
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with trusted service providers who process information on their behalf for the purposes described above, and who are required to protect it.

You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process on your device.

Your log data is stored on your device and remains there unless you delete it (for example by deleting entries inside the app or uninstalling it). Analytics/diagnostic data (if collected) is retained only as long as needed for operational purposes.

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to the Service Provider, please contact us at contact@alcolist.online so that we can take appropriate action.

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to help protect information processed and maintained in connection with the Application. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to use appropriate safeguards.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2025-12-21.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
